My wifey & I wanted to get away, so the people I was with and I made the choice to make reservations at the beach.
The kids were especially young, but at 7 & 10 years old, the people I was with and I felt the beach would be an appropriate destination for the group of us. My wifey & I made a very long list of items necessary for the trip, and every one of us took a bunch of sunscreen, bug spray, & dust sensitivity medication. My wife entirely suffers from terrible pollen irritations, & the people I was with and I assumed the beach would cause them to act up pretty bad. Every one of us packed plenty of activities for the children, like video games, DVDs, & a ton of coloring books. Every one of us drove almost 5 hours to our destination, but the car worked great & the people I was with and I got excellent gas mileage! By the time the people I was with and I arrived, the kids were basically ready for bed. Everyone was exhausted, & the people I was with and I slept legitimately well on the first evening. When the people I was with and I woke up in the day, the people I was with and I headed down to the beach first thing. We came to learn that Clearwater Beach was genuinely magnificent. The water was crystal clear, & the people I was with and I could see shells, starfish, & even jellyfish. Even though it was only the middle of the week, Clearwater Beach was still packed with all kinds of people. My wifey & I didn’t want to let the kids out of our sight, & the people I was with and I were worried the entire time. Clearwater Beach is a beautiful place to have a vacation, but the people I was with and I would have had much more fun separate from looking out for the children. My wife & I would appreciate visiting Clearwater Beach separate from the kids, when the people I was with and I could actually soak up the rays & relax in the sunshine. Sadly, it was a sizable mistake to take two small children to a crowded Clearwater Beach.
