Timing And The Heat Pump Installation

Don’t you just hate it when you have to schedule some kind of house work or repair work, and it has you tied up all day? This is what happened to me recently when I set up an HVAC appointment to have my heat pump installed. The local heating and air conditioning company had told me that the HVAC specialist would be arriving between 9am and 6pm in the evening. This was really a major hassle for me, because I had to work that day, and had no other choice but to take the day off! I don’t dig losing a whole day’s pay just to sit around my house waiting for some heating and air conditioning specialist to install a heat pump that I bought! I simply do not understand why heating and air conditioning companies, energy companies and all of these corporations give these time windows. Why not just set a one hour time frame? None of it makes sense! I mean, I just paid a lot of money upgrading my heating method to a heat pump directly through this local heating and air conditioning company. They could at least have the respect to not make the whole experience a major headache for me! Finally, the heating and air conditioning specialist arrived around 3pm the day of my heat pump installation. I have to admit, I was going to get mad and go off about what I think of the time window junk. However, the heating and air conditioning specialist was such a nice guy, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. At least now I have my heat pump.
