The perks of being an HVAC worker

Whenever they have an issue or question regarding heating and cooling, I always try to take care of it at no cost to them

When I was younger, I never liked school much. I decided when I got out of high school that my best option was to go into a trade. As more and more kids head into college, there are more and more job opportunities for young people entering a trade. While it may not have the glamour of a college degree, certified training in a trade can set you up with a great career. I decided to get my HVAC certification. Now, I have been working for one of the largest heating and cooling companies in the area for about ten years. The money is great, and I love the company that I work for. We do everything from maintenance checks, duct work, heating and cooling installations, and various repairs. It’s nice to keep busy with a variety of tasks, and I like socializing with the clients. However, the best part of working in the HVAC business is the knowledge that I’ve gained. I never have to worry about issues with my personal heating and cooling. I installed my heating and cooling myself, and I check it for efficiency every other month. I’ve gotten so good at it that it takes me no time at all. I have radiant heated floors and a top of the line central air system, and I got them both at half price. I never have to worry about paying for an HVAC maintenance plan, and I have an endless supply of free air filters. I also try to spread this benefit to my friends and family. Whenever they have an issue or question regarding heating and cooling, I always try to take care of it at no cost to them. It’s easy enough to figure out and repair the problem, most of the time.
