The last 2 years have been spent with myself and others planning on how to transition from Heating and Air Conditioning specialist and company supervisor to Heating and Air Conditioning dealer owner.

The idea of working for myself has always held the most interest for me.

I spent nearly a decade working for 2 different Heating and Air Conditioning companies. One was a giant national outfit where I was only regarded as a heating and cooling tech. Then, I had the occasion to toil for a local Heating and Air Conditioning shop. This was a fantastic experience. I was able to see all parts of the business. From payroll to SEO, I was able to at least get my feet wet. The owners of that Heating and Air Conditioning relied heavily on print ads and other outdated school methods of SEO. However, using a SEO company or digital SEO was just not what the owners wanted to do. They built the dealer on word of mouth advertising regarding the quality of their work. It took us all the two of us could do to just get them to build a website to participate in online SEO. They finally relented. All of us went to an online SEO dealer for guidance. They were fantastic and layed out a variety of openings to enable that local company to have a more dynamic SEO presence. All of us chose to go with a mixture of digital SEO and search engine optimization. The SEO component seemed genuinely savvy given how people locate and contact repair companies now. Pretty much almost everyone goes straight to a search engine to research their Heating and Air Conditioning repair options. The SEO and digital strategies worked genuinely well. The company’s resites soared. They ended up doing so well that the owners were able to sell out for a bundle of money. I hope I can market my up-to-date company in the same way.
