Became an HVAC specialist because of DIY projects

And you have to admit, becoming an HVAC worker is a big change from being a lawyer! Sure, the lawyer thing would have paid better, and maybe even had made me somewhat rich

How I ended up becoming a certified heating and air conditioning specialist is quite an interesting and very different kind of situation. Originally, my plan in life was to go into law and become a lawyer. Well, this plan got axed once I decided my real calling in life was in the heating and air conditioning repair and installation business. This all came about by me always doing DIY home projects for my own personal hobby. I would build things and I would fix things. I always found myself somehow repairing and creating different kinds of HVAC systems. When I say creating, I don’t mean building HVAC systems, I mean modifying them to upgrades without having to pay an HVAC company to do it. When I graduated high school, it got me thinking, and I decided to enroll in a school to learn more about heating and cooling. And of course, to get my HVAC certification so I could do all of this for a living. I remember my parents were quite upset with me at first. They were dead set on having a lawyer in the family. And you have to admit, becoming an HVAC worker is a big change from being a lawyer! Sure, the lawyer thing would have paid better, and maybe even had made me somewhat rich. But, I would rather have less money and enjoy what I am doing for a living, than to have tons of cash and be miserable. And as it stood, being in the heating and air conditioning business was my true real calling!
